Sacred Ceremony

Red Barn Spiritual Sanctuary has one primary goal which is to honor the Earth, nature and the indigenous peoples who tended our land long before colonization. We believe that the Divine resides in all living things and that the land holds the memory of its ancestors.

Ceremony is the way that Red Barn Spiritual Sanctuary can honor and give thanks to Great Spirit and the gods that rule the sky, the fields, farm animals and farmers together as a place of creativity and luminosity. In ceremony we meditate, pray, dance, give gratitude and drum ourselves back to the perfect balance of the natural life cycle.

Ceremony can mean a drum circle, a recovery meeting, service to the land and animals or a formal Indigenous ceremony in the Lakota tradition.

Our ceremonies are drug and alcohol free and fully inclusive for all ages, beliefs, ethnicities and genders. We celebrate our humanness as it connects with the natural environment and becomes one with the rhythm of all Creation.

Come join us on a full moon or new moon or a recovery meeting for fellowship, sharing, laughter and a great pot-luck in our wonderful Red Barn Sanctuary! We look forward to meeting you!

Horticulture Therapy

Red Barn Spiritual Sanctuary resides in the Pleasants Valley area between rural Vacaville and Winters, California. The Valley has been the location for farming and hunting, and has been used by U.C. Davis as an organic farm locus.

Farming in the area consists of alfalfa, Italian plums, almonds, walnut, grape vineyards and lavender farms. There are equine stables, sheep, cattle and goats that are being farmed in the area.

Our soil is fertile, thanks to the water of Lake Berryessa and the Ulatis Creek and it’s many tributaries that spread out through the miles of farmland Pleasants Valley offers.

We, at Red Barn continue in the tradition of organic and biodynamic farming. We heal through the spiritual act of using one’s hands and full body while tilling and planting or watering the land as an expression of Divine Service. For those who feel their lives need a little dirt in their shoes to remember the childlike qualities of innocence and renewal, we invite you to come experience some dirt therapy!

Polyvagal Equine Therapy

This program is not currently being offered.

Equine therapy is a psychotherapy treatment method that uses the connection between people and horses to enhance physical and emotional healing.

Horses in particular are deeply spiritual beings and have been proven to have therapeutic benefits to those mending from trauma of all kinds.

Our Equine Therapy Ministry brings people of all ages into alignment with their highest self by working with the earth and animals, thus bringing healing to the soul.
